Certified Medical Assistant – Schaumburg – Neurology

Full-time, 40 Hours/Week
Join our team as a Certified Medical Assistant supporting neurologic care. Full-time position with no evenings, weekends or holidays.
Responsibilities- Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs, and collecting health history.
- Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes, and other first-aid procedures.
- Assist with immunizations or injections as a certified medical assistant.
- Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing.
- Conduct onsite lab testing, including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests.
- Maintain clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visits.
- Provide excellent customer service, exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values.
- Travel to assist other local clinics may be required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required.
- Active medical assistant certification preferred: AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA, AAMA.
- CPR certification required or willing to become certified upon hire.
- Phlebotomy certification may be required within 90 days of hire.
- Prior experience as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or at least 2 years of experience working in a medical office assisting with patient care.
Base pay range: $21.43–$23.63 per hour for a Medical Assistant;
Certified or Registered Medical Assistant: $22.97–$24.57 per hour, based on skills, experience, education, certification, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
