MRI Technologist

Overview

Barrington Orthopedic Specialists is looking for a PRN (as needed) MRI Technologist.

• Provide MRI imaging services as needed, including venipuncture and administration of contrast media per policy and procedures in a clinical setting.
• Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening.
• Navigate electronic medical records information systems.
• Operate with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE ON HITACHI ECHELON 1.5T
• Current/valid ARRT certification (MRI)
• Maintain current BLS credentialed from the American Heart Association
• 2 years MRI Orthopedic experience required
• Strong communication skills; able to work as part of a team
• Experience with Athena and PACS is a PLUS

• PRN coverage with the following shifts: 2 Saturdays per month; occasional nights from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm
• Saturdays: 6:30 am – 3:00 pm;
  Tuesday or Thursday 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm
