Our client is seeking a Manager of Corporate Consolidations to join the corporate accounting team and lead the consolidation and financial reporting processes across the organization. This role will be responsible for managing the monthly consolidation process, intercompany eliminations, and consolidated financial reporting while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP.
The ideal candidate will bring 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably including public accounting and/or corporate accounting within a multi-entity organization, with strong expertise in financial consolidations and technical accounting. This individual will work closely with finance leaders across the organization and play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of consolidated financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities Consolidations & Financial Reporting- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation process across multiple legal entities and business units.
- Prepare and review consolidation entries, including intercompany eliminations, equity roll forwards, and minority interest calculations.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Maintain consolidation schedules and supporting documentation for financial reporting.
- Coordinate with business unit accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate financial submissions.
- Support the corporate month-end close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Review entity-level financial results and investigate significant fluctuations or anomalies.
- Assist with the preparation of management reporting packages and financial analysis for senior leadership.
- Assist in the evaluation and implementation of technical accounting guidance, including areas such as revenue recognition (ASC 606), business combinations, and intercompany accounting.
- Support the preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements and disclosures.
- Partner with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and automation of consolidation processes.
- Assist in the implementation or optimization of financial consolidation systems (e.g., Hyperion, One Stream, Net Suite, SAP BPC, or similar tools).
- Strengthen internal controls related to financial reporting and consolidation activities.
