Overview
Zurich is seeking an experienced Senior Performance Analyst or Assistant Finance Director to join the Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS) Finance team. This role plays a critical part in delivering timely, accurate, and actionable financial insights that support strategic decision‑making and drive business performance.
It has a hybrid schedule with 3 days a week presence in the Schaumburg Headquarters.
ResponsibilitiesAs a key financial partner, you will collaborate across segments and leadership to ensure alignment of financial goals with business objectives. The role supports budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, ad‑hoc requests, and projects. It will work with the ZRS North America Leadership Team to prepare performance analysis packages, lead the financial plan cycle, and create new insights for a fast‑growing organization to enable good decision making.
The position will work in a team environment with intermediate experience in SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint, and will require minimal supervision and the ability to lead projects.
- Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
- Experience with planning/forecasting models and Power BI or other visualization/scorecard tools
- Bachelors Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
- Leadership experience
- Experience with planning/forecasting models and Power BI or other visualization/scorecard tools
- CPA, CPCU, CFA, CTP or MBA
- Bachelors Degree in Finance
- P&L management experience
- Strong Microsoft Office experience
- Experience in SAP, BPC and Power BI
- Insurance industry experience
- Project management experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
The combined salary range for this position is $96,000.00 - $. The proposed salary range for the Senior Performance Analyst is $96,000.00 - $, with short‑term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%. The proposed salary range for the Assistant Finance Director is $ - $, with short‑term incentive bonus eligibility set at 20%.
