Collection Agency Analyst – Finance Operations Associate

Zurich North America is hiring an experienced Finance Operations Associate – Collections/AR/AP to join our Group Captives team in our Schaumburg, IL headquarters.

• Managing the relationship with our collection agencies
• Balancing between Zurich systems and the collection agency systems
• Collecting and reconciling premiums and non-premiums, invoicing or applying cash to maximize efficiency
• Collecting and minimizing outstanding balances and delinquencies for assigned accounts
• Providing technical guidance, work direction, and analytical support to the team
• Handling accounts typically of low to moderate complexity/exposure
• Authorizing policy cancellations for non-payment in accordance with pre‑defined guidelines and protocol
• Extending credit or negotiating and settling payment plans within limited authority

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Finance Operations area
• OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in Finance Operations AND knowledge of insurance industry agreements and loss‑sensitive programs

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Excel
• Ability to work with large amounts of data

The proposed salary range for this position is $58,800.00 – $96,300.00, with short‑term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
