* GSG is seeking a Structural Engineer (SE) for our Schaumburg office to assist and be responsible for project scoping, design criteria, engineering analysis, calculation, design, and plan preparation for bridge and building structures, earth retention systems, and other engineering structures. Job duties include but are not limited to:

* Prepare written condition reports that include identification of findings, load rating analysis, cost analyses for repair alternatives, and recommendations for repair

* Assist with engineering duties on projects of various complexity

* Structural bridge design, foundation design, design of concrete structures

* Develop project scope, goals, plan, and deliverables

* Communicate project expectations to team members and project stakeholders on an ongoing basis

* Serve as mentor to junior staff engineers

* Required Qualifications
* * Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

* Professional Engineer or Structural Engineer License (preferred)

* 5+ years of structural design experience

* Technical experience with analysis software such as Microstation, AutoCAD, or Revit
