Position Overview

Senior Analyst, Marketing Analytics

We are seeking a senior analyst to be part of Davey’s marketing analytics team. Interested candidates should possess a strong intellectual curiosity and excellent written and verbal communication skills along with careful attention to detail.

Job Duties

Job Summary:

The Senior Data Analyst will manage implementation of data projects, review data management platforms and marketing analytics SOPs, perform ongoing data analyses and provide data-driven insights to key stakeholders.

This position also develops data visualizations and leverages dashboard tools, collaborates with other internal data professionals, and provides data management-related technical assistance and recommendations, as needed. This position reports to the Manager of Marketing Analytics.

Essential Duties:

• Supports the business intelligence, reporting, and data analysis needs of the organization.

• Identifies, collects, processes, and analyzes internal and external data as assigned.

• Leverages visualization tools to effectively convey information to internal and external stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.

• Performs basic and complex data analyses on both quantitative and qualitative data as assigned.

• Monitors data quality to ensure accuracy.

• Implements solutions that align with best practices and company policies around data governance, data fidelity and quality.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

• Proficiency in Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, or any other data visualization tools.

• Comfortable working in various database software and web-based reporting tools.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Knowledge of relevant relational databases.

• Working knowledge of statistical methodologies, data analysis techniques, data management, dashboards, modeling, querying, and workflows.

• A demonstrated understanding of continuous quality improvement related to data systems.

• Solid understanding of data sources, data organization and storage.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, within a team, and remotely.

• Able to take direction and respond effectively to constructive feedback.
