Role Overview

We are seeking a high-energy, entrepreneurial Chief Revenue Officer/ Chief Business Development Officer to lead our growth engine. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end revenue strategy, focusing on high-value Enterprise sales within the Property & Casualty (P&C) sector. You will bridge the gap between complex insurance underwriting principles and cutting‑edge technical solutions, ensuring our platform becomes the industry standard.

You'll be Doing
  • Architecture & Process Building:
    Design and implement a scalable sales process, including lead generation, pipeline management, and forecasting.
  • Revenue Strategy:
    Identify and penetrate new market segments within the insurance industry (Carriers, MGAs, or Brokers).
  • Master Enterprise Sales:
    Navigate long-cycle, high-stakes negotiations with Tier-1 and Tier-2 insurance carriers, focusing on how Convr’s AI transforms the Underwriting workflow.
  • P&C Leadership:
    Leverage your deep Property & Casualty and Underwriting knowledge to act as a credible consultant to C-suite insurance executives.
  • Strategic Partnerships:
    Leverage your existing network to secure high-value pilot programs and long‑term enterprise contracts.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:
    Work closely with Product and Engineering to ensure our roadmap aligns with market demands and “solves for the buyer.”
  • Data-Driven Growth:
    Establish Key Performance Indicators and utilize our tech stack to provide transparent reporting on sales velocity and CAC/LTV ratios.
Who You Are
  • Deep Insurance Roots:
    You must speak the language of P&C insurance. Whether your background is in brokerage, carrier operations, or MGA leadership, you understand the industry's unique pain points and regulatory hurdles.
  • Tech-Savvy Mindset:
    You don't need to code, but you must be comfortable with modern SaaS stacks. You should be an expert in CRM optimization (Hub Spot/Salesforce) and understand how API-driven products are integrated into legacy systems.
  • A Technical Seller:
    You have a high-level understanding of Enterprise tech (AI, Data Science, API-first platforms) and can explain complex value propositions to both IT and Business stakeholders.
  • The Startup Spark:
    You thrive in ambiguity. You prefer a blank canvas over a pre-written manual and aren't afraid to “carry a bag” and close deals yourself while building the team.
  • Proven Track Record:
    At least 10+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a significant portion dedicated to B2B SaaS or Fintech/Insurtech.
