Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - West Elgin

Overview

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full-time Automotive Detailer. The starting rate of pay is $16.50 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek.

Location:

400 S Randall Road, Ste E, Elgin, IL 60123.

Schedule available is:

• Monday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Tuesday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Wednesday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm (alternating)

• Wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare a variety of vehicles (cars, trucks, vans) to meet high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals
• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle exterior (sizes may include cars, vans, and trucks)
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found; verify registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle from prep processing as necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from the branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance including interior and exterior cleanliness of branch locations
• Site appearance responsibilities: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and miscellaneous tasks related to daily cleanliness

• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
