Senior Accountant

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team in the insurance industry. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements specific to insurance or related sectors.

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reconciliations, and variance reports.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards applicable to insurance operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams on budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation.
• Support process improvements and system enhancements for greater efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• 3+ years of accounting experience, with exposure to insurance or related industry strongly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
