Overview
An experienced Relief Female Personal Assistant is required to work a shift 2 Sundays per month and to cover holidays/sickness of staff who care for a 79-year-old disabled lady suffering from MS with some mental health needs.
Responsibilities- Provide personal care and assist with eating and meal preparation.
- Assist with medications; light cleaning duties as needed.
- Accompany the lady on outings around the area and help keep her occupied throughout the day.
- Support with moving and handling; the lady is a wheelchair user and moving and handling experience is essential.
- Cover shifts for holidays and sickness, which may include overnight stays.
- Moving & Handling: 1 year (preferred)
- Care Work: 3 years (preferred)
- DBS check is required and paid for by the employer.
Pay is £14.70 per hour and £87.20 per sleepover, and time and a half on bank holidays.
