Locum Band 5/6 Audiologist - Scarborough & Bridlington

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Hourly Rate: £25-26
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week preferred, Monday to Friday. Part-time considered.

Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 5 or Band 6 Audiologist to join a well-established NHS service covering Bridlington and Scarborough General Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to routine adult audiology services in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality hearing aid services to adult patients, including assessments, fittings, and follow-up care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine adult hearing aid services, including assessments, fittings, and maintenance.
  • Conduct hearing tests and interpret audiometric results.
  • Offer patient-centred care and support throughout the hearing aid journey.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider audiology and ENT teams to ensure continuity of care.
  • Adhere to departmental protocols and national standards of audiology practice.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Hold a recognised qualification in Audiology (e.g. BSc in Audiology or equivalent).
  • Be HCPC or RCCP registered.
  • Have experience in routine adult hearing aid work.
  • Be confident in working independently and managing your own caseload.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be committed to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.
