Availability and scheduling:
We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and you will have 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are flexible and welcome candidates whose available times closely match the advertised windows.
Pay:
Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 per hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
Note:
It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.

Delivering your part of our customer shopping trip by:
- Ensuring the van and trays are clean, tidy, and organized
- Leaving the back yard clean and free of rubbish; picking up litter as needed
- Washing trays as part of the tray wash process
- Loading the van and checking vehicle roadworthiness
- Communicating with customers about changes to their order, substitutions, and refunds as needed
- Treating products and deliveries with care
- Explaining substitutions to customers and ensuring no additional charges
- Delivering within the customer’s time slot
- Calling the customer before arriving if early
- Calling the store/centre if running 30 minutes or more late
- Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit and support excellent customer service
- Be warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues
- Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace change
- Be energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations and maintain balance between home and work
- Share ideas with your Manager and colleagues on store improvements
- A valid UK/EU/EEA Driving licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
