We are looking for a dedicated Pupil Support Assistant to work across a mix of SEN and SEMH settings in Scarborough. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to help pupils access the curriculum, build confidence, and thrive in an inclusive environment.
Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
- Help pupils access the curriculum effectively
- Implement positive behavioural strategies
- Encourage engagement, independence, and confidence
- Support inclusion across classrooms and school environments
- Record and monitor pupil progress
- Weekly pay and referral/loyalty bonuses
- Opportunities across multiple SEN and SEMH schools in Scarborough
- Clear progression to senior or specialist SEND roles
- Supportive and inclusive working environment
