Beauregard Equipment is seeking a motivated Apprentice Technician interested in building a career as a Heavy Equipment Technician. This role is designed for someone who will shadow experienced technicians, learn hands-on in a shop environment, and complete foundational training early in the apprenticeship.
This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or students currently enrolled in a technical or vocational program who want real-world experience alongside structured learning.
What You’ll Do- Shadow experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians during diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs
- Learn fundamentals of engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance
- Assist with basic service tasks such as tool organization, parts handling, and shop safety
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Complete assigned fundamentals training within the first month of beginning the apprenticeship
- Participate in ongoing learning and skill development opportunities
- Access to CNH Web Academy training is provided
- Training must be completed outside of regular working hours
- Fundamentals training is expected to be completed within one month of apprenticeship start
- Hands-on learning through direct mentorship and job shadowing
- Basic personal tool set (hand tools required to start)
- High School diploma or currently enrolled in High School as part of a technical, vocational, or school-sponsored program in a related field
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong interest in mechanical systems and equipment repair
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work safely
- Reliable attendance and positive attitude
- Teacher referral a plus, but not required
- Someone early in their career who wants to learn the trade the right way
- Comfortable asking questions and learning by observation and practice
- Able to work as part of a team in a shop environment
- Interested in long-term growth within the equipment service industry
