Responsibilities
  • Lead Center Store Sourcing by reviewing & assessing a Center Store portfolio of vendors/categories across ADUSA with annualized COGS exceeding $21B. Focus on leveraging size and scale to support initiatives (cost improvements through the CPN process, S4OC, ECE, etc.). Deliver all corporate-wide Center Store goals on COGs, savings, budget, planning and execution. Create forums for cross-brand alignment (e.g., cross-brand bi-weekly calls) and share best practices.

    Drive efficiencies through process improvement and innovation.
  • Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at core locations and 2 remote days. Core locations include Salisbury, NC;
    Quincy, MA;
    Carlisle, PA;
    Scarborough, ME;
    Hyattsville, MD.
  • Develop sourcing strategies and tactics with Great Local Brands to leverage size and scale to deliver optimal financial results (S4OC, ECE, etc.). Expand influence to drive change and innovation to enhance overall company performance.
  • Responsible for period/quarterly financial reporting on suppliers and Brands within the assigned portfolio; identify opportunities and areas for concern and help teams formulate action plans.
  • Ensure the team (direct reports) develops communications and materials (e.g., category briefs, playbooks) for leadership engagement across ADUSA with key CPGs.
  • Support negotiations across the assigned portfolio through data and process development/enhancements; serve as the point of escalation for key issues across Great Local Brands (e.g., cost increases, reclaim changes).
  • Lead and develop the team (training/development), build consensus, and drive alignment across all leadership levels throughout RBS and ADUSA. Build sourcing capabilities through effective execution of team talents and strategies; reinforce purpose and engage in ongoing conversations to connect individual and team purpose across functions.
  • Other duties as assigned to meet business needs and support our values.
Qualifications
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for the duration of the appointment.
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent;
    Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of related Sourcing, Negotiating, Category, & vendor management experience.
  • 4+ years demonstrated success leading people/teams.

  • Firm understanding of financial reporting (P&L management) and ability to leverage syndicated/internal data; experience educating others on these topics.
  • Track record of influencing others without authority; capable of independent interaction and leadership with senior leadership across the organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Facilitation skills across multiple media types (video conferences, TEAMS, Skype, conference calls, in-person) with groups typically 5-25 people.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, DSS, and IDW; strong SEGA capabilities. Ability to interpret and leverage syndicated data reports (e.g., IRI) to drive insights. Understanding of self-distribution and C&S environments.
  • Conflict management skills; general knowledge of industry and suppliers.
