Exciting surgical practice with IAC accredited vascular laboratory is seeking a per diem ARMDS RVT registered candidate specializing in vascular ultrasound to join our team of technologists. Qualified candidates will perform carotid dopplers, segmental pressures, bypass graft surveillance examinations and upper and lower extremity venous studies.
In addition, we support a growing and thriving Vein Center and two outreach clinics
The surgical group consists of 9 vascular surgeons serving Maine and New Hampshire and our equipment consists of Phillips ultrasound units and Parks Flo Lab.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)- Education:
Degree in Sonography/Vascular Technology from an accredited school required. Graduation from an accredited Vascular Technology program with RVT credentials required. - License/
Certifications:
RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RDMS (Registers Diagnostic Medical Sonographer), or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) required. ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) Certified or eligible. RVT must be obtained within one year of full‑time employment or within two years of part‑time employment. Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. - Experience:
Two years of practice or hospital vascular/ultrasound experience required. Three years of experience as Vascular Technologist with at least one year in a hospital setting preferred. - Additional Skills/Requirements
