Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Sonographer - Cariac Sonographer

Job Details:

• Work 5 days per week from approximately 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM

• Rotate between three outpatient locations:
Scarborough, Kennebunk, and Biddeford

• Perform up to 7 full echocardiograms and 1 limited echocardiogram per day

• Complete prereads on all studies

• Perform moderate-complexity echo cardiographic exams independently

• Must be comfortable starting IVs and administering Definity contrast

• Perform transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms

• Work independently with minimal onboarding required

• Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography or equivalent experience required

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac sonography required

• BLS certification required

• Minimum of 5 years of cardiac ultrasound experience required

• Experience with transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms required

• Familiarity with Philips EPIQ ultrasound systems and Epic EMR preferred

• Must adhere to established protocols, documentation standards, and quality expectations

• Must recognize abnormal findings and exercise sound clinical judgment
