Summary

The Pre-Analytic Trainer role provides job specific pre-analytic training including phlebotomy, specimen management and order entry to current and new team members. This role assists in developing and implementing training and education programs.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education:

    Associate’s Degree preferred.
  • License/

    Certifications:

    Certification as a Phlebotomist by a recognized professional organization (ASCP, AMT, NHA) required within one year of start date. Valid Driver's license required.
  • Experience:

    One year of experience in both phlebotomy and specimen management required.
  • Additional Skills/Requirements

    Required:

    May be asked to work at other sites/locations as needed.
  • Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred:
    Basic computer skills. Proficiency with laboratory computer system.
