Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - IV THERAPY - BACKFILL

Duration: 12 Months+ (Possibility of Extension)

Start Date: ASAP Start.

• Infusion nurse providing IV therapy care, including the administration of chemotherapy/immunotherapy.
• IV Therapy RN.
• Trained/certified to administer chemo/immunotherapy.

• The Outpatient IV Therapy Nurse, in collaboration with the patients care team, evaluates each patients appropriateness for treatment and provides direct patient care as ordered.
• Care provided includes, but is not limited to, the administration of oncologic and non-oncologic medications, including high risk and/or hazardous compounds (if the administering nurse is appropriately credentialed), the administration of blood products and other supportive care treatments, and the provision of urgent/emergent medical care to patients experiencing a medical emergency in the outpatient infusion setting.

• Patient Ratios: varies based on length/type/acuity of treatments provided but ranges from 1:7 to 1:9 per day.
