Overview
Hospice of Southern Maine is seeking a full time Hospice Aide (CNA) (evenings, 3pm-11:30pm) to work at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. The Hospice Aide provides care to patients at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House to improve quality of life and promote comfort. The HA performs tasks required to help maintain and restore the physical, social, and emotional health of patients.
Responsibilities- Provide care to patients at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House to improve quality of life and promote comfort.
- Perform tasks required to help maintain and restore the physical, social, and emotional health of patients.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency.
- Registered with the Maine State CNA Registry; active and in good standing.
- HA certification required to perform duties.
- BLS certification or the ability to obtain certification within the first 90 days of employment; certification must be kept active during employment.
After 1 year of successful employment, eligible for tuition reimbursement toward a nursing degree!
