Cardiac Device Care Specialist II
Full Time (40hrs);
Day Shift
Experience working with implantable cardiac devices (pacemakers, ICDs) and familiarity with device interrogation and programming is strongly preferred.
Prior exposure to cardiac rhythm management, electrophysiology procedures, or device clinic operations will enhance success in this role as well as demonstrated knowledge in patient education, device troubleshooting, and documentation
Summary:
The Cardiac Device Specialist II role is responsible for processing, evaluating and providing ongoing device care for patients with implanted cardiac devices.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Associate of Science degree or certificate in an Allied Health related program or equivalent work experience required.
Certifications:
Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
See "Education." Prior electrophysiology experience preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of the Cardiac Device Specialist I role.
Required:

Knowledge of healthcare field and medical office protocols/procedures. Knowledge of crash cart emergency procedures and contents and proper response to emergency situations.
