Patient Service Specialist - Cardiology (Established Patient Scheduling)

Location: 96 Campus Dr, Scarborough, ME

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (primarily remote after onboarding)

Our Cardiology department is seeking a detail-oriented, patient-focused Patient Service Specialist to join our Established Patient Scheduling team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth patient access by managing scheduling needs and supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of the practice.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced patient service environment and enjoys being a primary point of contact for patients calling into the practice.

• Schedule cardiology tests and appointments for established patients.
• Serve as a main resource for incoming patient calls, offering clear and compassionate communication.
• Support daily administrative operations as needed.
• Adapt between scheduling and phone coverage based on departmental needs each day.
• Provide exceptional service that supports a positive patient experience.

The Established Patient Scheduling team is responsible for coordinating all cardiology testing and serves as the primary call center for incoming patient inquiries.
