As a CAD Manager, you protect quality while enabling scale.

In this role, you’ll:

• Lead daily CAD operations and balance team workloads.
• Hold short team check-ins to align priorities and surface issues.
• Coordinate weekly with project managers to match schedules.
• Maintain and enforce CAD standards and templates.
• Review drawings before release to eliminate rework.
• Track CAD hours and flag schedule risks early.
• Remove technical and workflow bottlenecks.
• Train, coach, and develop CAD staff.

7+ years of CAD drafting experience in HVAC, mechanical, or construction environments.

2+ years leading or supervising a CAD team.

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and discipline‑specific CAD tools.

Strong knowledge of construction documents and shop drawings.

Experience supporting schedule‑driven construction projects.

Proven ability to manage standards and quality control.

Strong communication skills with project managers, engineers, and field teams.

Preferred:

• Technical school, associate degree, or formal CAD training.
• Industry certifications related to CAD or BIM.

Competitive salary range of $65,000 – $80,000 per year, based on experience.
