Superintendent, Construction

Base pay range: $110,000–$130,000 per year.

Location:

Scarborough, ME.

We’re seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site construction operations and partner closely with the Project Manager to deliver high-quality projects safely, on time, and on budget.

• Partner with the Project Manager to manage daily and long-term project activities
• Develop a strong understanding of project strategy, financial goals, schedules, and milestones
• Oversee all daily field operations, including site safety (OSHA-compliant), construction progress, quality control, and site cleanliness
• Coordinate and manage multiple trades on-site through effective planning and stand‑up meetings
• Communicate effectively with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
• Ensure safety is integrated into planning and execution for both self‑perform and subcontracted work
• Establish and enforce site controls across all trades
• Confirm subcontractor layout as work progresses
• Manage punch lists and oversee project closeout processes
• Complete daily Autodesk updates, including field reports, photos, and quality documentation

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands‑on field experience
• Assistant Superintendent and/or Superintendent experience
• Proven ability to meet schedules and forecast work needs
• Strong experience coordinating multiple trades and managing field teams
• Extensive knowledge of construction safety standards, regulations, and best practices
• Solid understanding of building codes, standards, and construction methods
• Proficiency with construction and project management software (e.g., Primavera, Procore, Autodesk, MS Project, Excel, Word)
