Job Description

To serve customers in a fast paced automotive parts retail environment.

• Operate cash registers, handle telephone calls, use computer and paper catalog systems.
• Process current sales promotions, rebates, and registrations.
• Build and maintain store displays; keep items stocked and priced.
• Share knowledge about auto part features, benefits, and warranty information.
• Maintain accurate invoicing records and ensure cash drawer security.
• Process TAMS point-of-sale transactions correctly.
• Execute store policies and procedures in all transactions.

• Assist with checking in stock orders and stocking products on shelves.
• Clean and perform routine maintenance functions.
• Provide efficient and professional delivery service safely and timely.

• Excel in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
• Motivated to learn.
• Maintain professional attitude, conduct, and appearance.
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with NAPA customers.
• Capable of reading, writing legibly, and understanding part numbers and line codes; can accurately reference part numbers and applications from extensive catalog.
• Capable of lifting and moving parts and boxes up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of using moving aids such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc.
• Capable of bending or stooping to ground-level shelves and reaching upper shelves, using step stool or ladder when necessary.
• Capable of working on their feet for assigned shifts.
• Pass a pre-employment background check.
• Perform associated duties as assigned by management.
