Armed night Security Officer

Iron Rock Security is seeking a highly qualified Armed Security Officer for a residential apartment building in Parlin, NJ.

• Prior armed security experience required
• Must have a valid SORA card and CCW
• Reliable transportation
• Strong training and de-escalation skills
• Physically able to conduct walking NFC scan tours

• Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday
• 6pm-12am

$25-27.00 per hour

We are looking for a competent Security Officer to undertake the surveillance of our apartment building. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior. A security officer must be well-trained in surveillance and dealing with perpetrators. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation.

The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free.

• Monitor and ensure the safety and security of residents, visitors, and property
• Serve as the first point of contact for residents and guests
• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times
• Conduct mobile patrols around the entire community hourly
• Conduct interior checks of each building with a concentration in the laundry rooms and stairwell, scanning NFC tags every two hours
• Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

• Proven experience as security officer or guard
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Registered as a security officer
• High School diploma is required
• Clean Drivers Record

Must be able to pass background check and drug screening.
