ResponsibilitiesYour mission:
Own the shop drawing process in AutoCAD, partner with engineers and contractors to resolve field issues, and keep technical work streams aligned—from estimating and specs to schedules and records—so our projects finish strong.
- Prepare precise structural shop drawings and rebar details aligned with design specifications, applicable codes/standards, and reliability expectations.
- Conduct site visits to validate conditions, assess constraints, and resolve emerging problems.
- Draft and review plans; execute detailed CAD work and documentation.
- Support materials estimating and present cost proposals.
- Assist with civil/structural design tasks as required.
- Maintain engineering files, records, and version control.
- Publish project scopes, descriptions, and schedules to stakeholders.
- Analyze product design, customer requirements, and performance criteria to define project specifications.
- Review contractor bids, negotiate with suppliers, and coordinate technical activities through meetings and continuous communication.
- Develop and nurture relationships with consulting engineering firms and construction companies.
- BS degree.
- Advanced AutoCAD proficiency; adept at interpreting architectural, structural, and process drawings.
- Proven problem-solver across multi-technology scenarios; able to advise and troubleshoot.
- Leadership, influence, and the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
- Confident decision-maker with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Occasional travel, typically under 10%.

- Salary range: $50,000–$60,000 (exempt)
