Marina Forklift Operator

Join our dynamic team at The Landings! As a Marina Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement, storage, and handling of boats and related materials within the marina. You will operate industrial forklifts to load, unload, and transport vessels and equipment, adhering to all safety protocols.

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to lift, move, position, and place machinery and equipment at marinas.
• Transport boats and related equipment to designated areas within the marina.
• Perform regular safety inspections and preventative maintenance of forklifts to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with marina staff to coordinate movements and placement of boats.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
• Document and maintain records of forklift operations and maintenance activities.
• Assist with other marina operations as needed, including general maintenance and support.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Previous experience operating a marina forklift.
• Strong understanding of safe forklift operation procedures and marina safety standards.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in performing tasks.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and undertake physically demanding tasks.
