Warehouse Forklift Operator

Position Overview

Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full Time Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Savannah, GA.

• Hourly Pay: $17.39 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  First Shift Monday‑Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record and personal vehicle; ability to travel within the area approximately 25–50% of the day.
• Valid Forklift Operator’s License.
• Strong technical aptitude, including use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, scanners, and entering orders into a WMS system.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb unassisted and push/pull up to 35 lb.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, stand for long periods, and work flexible schedules.
• Independent work and strong teamwork skills; attention to detail and accuracy.
