The Landings Golf and Athletic Club is a private luxury residential club on Skidaway Island dedicated to providing members with an active lifestyle through resort-class amenities. Job Responsibilities- Conducts swim practice 2 to 3 times per week
- Assist in overseeing meets when necessary (approximately 4 hours in length)
- Establishes excellent rapport with the members of the team as well as all staff
- Participate in regular in-service training sessions
- Comply with departmental uniform and grooming standards
- Works effectively as a team with all departmental employee
- Works variety of shifts, as needed to include nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- Comply with departmental and Club policies and procedures
- Performs all other duties as assigned
- Communicate clearly and efficiently, receive information and feedback, and acts based on observation and information received
- Prior swim team experience is required (high school or club level preferred)
- Well-developed team skills, unquestioned confidence, and presence to effectively handle interpersonal relationships
- Must be able to understand and follow verbal/written instructions
- Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations
- Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks and to deploy resources effectively
- Must have the willingness to provide exceptional service to members and desire to provide leadership to position the department to achieve the mission
- Within The Island
- Swims, stands and walks for 95% of workday
- Lifts from 1 pound up to 50 pounds for 50% of workday
- Stoops, crawls, reaches and kneels to complete work assignments
- Works outdoors in inclement weather 90% of the workday
Education:
High School or better.
Experience:
Prior swim team experience is required (high school or club level preferred).
