Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Lead Carpet & Flooring Technician to lead cleaning and restoration projects while ensuring exceptional service quality. This role is responsible for performing advanced carpet and floor cleaning services, supervising technicians, and managing on-site operations for residential and commercial clients.
The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of carpet cleaning, water damage restoration, and equipment operation, along with the leadership ability to guide a team and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead carpet and floor cleaning services using hot water extraction, steam cleaning, and other professional methods
- Oversee water damage restoration including water extraction, drying, and dehumidification
- Train and support technicians to ensure quality and efficiency
- Maintain and troubleshoot cleaning and restoration equipment
- Provide customers with service explanations, recommendations, and estimates
- Ensure all services meet company standards and safety guidelines
- Inspect completed jobs to maintain high quality control
- Manage job documentation and communicate with office staff regarding schedules and service updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in carpet or floor cleaning
- Experience with water damage restoration equipment and procedures
- Leadership or team supervision experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle physically demanding work environments
- Valid Driver's License required
- IICRC certification is a plus
