Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic
Salary: $29-$35/hr- commensurate with experience
About the RoleWe’re looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our high-performing team. In this role, you’ll work on diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems across skid steers, excavators, and other heavy equipment. If you have strong diagnostic skills and a passion for tackling complex repairs, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a supportive shop environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy equipment
- Tackle hydraulic systems work and electrical troubleshooting
- Leverage strong mechanical expertise to resolve complex issues efficiently
- Use computer skills to support diagnostics and service documentation
- 3–5+ years heavy diesel or heavy equipment experience, especially with hydraulics
- Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and electrical skills
- 3–5 years of stable work history (5+ years ideal
Organized, results-oriented, and able to handle multiple ongoing projects with composure
