OTR TIRE Technician - Experienced

Boulevard Tire Center is looking for an experienced OTR Tire Technician for our Garden City, GA location. The position requires a minimum of 1 year experience as an OTR Technician with the knowledge, skills, and abilities in general tire maintenance including tire change and/or repair for commercial truck service. Will provide after-hours/on-call service to customers that may include fleet service. Must be available nights and weekends for rotating on-call or fleet service.

• Perform Off the Road (OTR) tire removal, installation, and repair on farm and industrial tires, with physically capable handling of tires up to sizes up to 00R49.
• Provide after-hours/on-call service to customers, including fleet service as required.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as a stick boom truck, jacks, bead breakers, pullers, slings, air tools, and other related equipment.

• Experienced OTR Tire Technician with demonstrated off-the-road, farm, and industrial tire removal, installation, and repair skills.
• Strong safety record and a strong commitment to safety.
• Maintain a current driver s license that complies with insurance and safety policies.
• Must be mature, responsible, reliable and able to communicate well (written and verbal) with customers, management, and co-workers.
• Must be able to operate and maintain a (STICK) boom truck and all associated equipment such as jacks, bead breakers, pullers, slings, air tools, and other related equipment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all applicable training and safety certifications (MSHA) as well as required security badges (TWIC).
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that could include after hours and weekend calls.
• CDL Class B required.
