Tico is hiring Mechanics for all skill levels and shifts at our site in Savannah, GA. This position typically involves an 8‑hour shift, with occasional overtime, and offers competitive pay, benefits, a sign‑on bonus, and opportunities for growth. 95% of our fleet are trucks built at our plant in Ridgeland, SC, all sharing the same power package and drivetrain. This consistency allows us to train the right candidate efficiently.

• Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Perform inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, A/C, steering, cooling, DPF, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Perform repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
• Utilize computer diagnostic software to interpret failure modes and initiate or assign repairs.
• Complete required paperwork using fleet maintenance software, documenting parts usage and accounting for repair times.
• Review, complete, or assign repairs.
• Perform maintenance related work as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Preferably 2+ years of experience in heavy truck repair, heavy/medium duty or farm equipment repair, forklift or construction equipment repair, or automotive maintenance and repair.
• Completion of a diesel or automotive tech program.
• Good attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic.

Must maintain your own tool set; a company‑provided tool program is available.
