Position Overview

We are looking for a qualified Residential Electrician to provide exceptional electrical services to our valued customers. As a Residential Electrician, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including service calls, quality control checks, and hot checks.

$18-$30/hour.

• Service Calls:
  Respond to service calls from residential clients promptly and professionally. Diagnose and repair electrical issues, such as faulty wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, and fixtures in homes.
• Quality Control Checks:
  Perform thorough quality control checks on completed electrical installations to ensure they meet our high standards and comply with local and national electrical codes and safety standards.
• Hot Checks:
  Conduct hot checks to identify and resolve electrical issues that could lead to safety hazards, including overheating circuits or wiring problems.
• Installation and Wiring:
  Safely install, wire, and connect electrical systems for new construction and renovation projects in residential settings.
• Customer Service:
  Communicate with customers to assess their electrical needs, provide recommendations, and address any questions or concerns.
• Safety:
  Prioritize safety at all times and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Generator Installation and Maintenance:
  Install and maintain residential generators, ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably.

• Strong knowledge of local and national electrical codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Generator installation and maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable and strong work ethic.
• Own basic hand and power tools.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of (or enrollment in) a state‑recognized electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in residential electrical work, construction, or a related field.

• Must be physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 80 pounds.
• Must be able to climb and work on ladders up to 28 feet in height.
• Must be able to work in various indoor and outdoor environments, including attics, crawl spaces, and roofs.
• Must have the ability to use hands and arms to handle tools and perform repetitive tasks.
