We are seeking skilled technicians with a millwright experience to join our team in building and repairing paint booths within manufacturing and industrial settings. This role involves following blueprints to construct I-beam frames with sheet metal paneling for walls, as well as installing ventilation systems, lighting, and other necessary applications to complete projects. Candidates must be willing to travel for extended periods of 3-6 months at a time.
Responsibilities- Build and repair paint booths in manufacturing and industrial settings.
- Follow blueprints to construct I-beam frames with sheet metal paneling.
- Install ventilation systems, lighting, and other necessary applications.
- Travel for extended periods of 3-6 months without returning home.
- Proficiency in sheet metal work and ironwork.
- Experience with HVAC, construction, carpentry, and welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Skilled in measuring, cutting, and installing materials.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and equipment operation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform duct work and mechanical service.
Skills & Qualifications
- Certification such as OSHA 10 and 30 are a plus.
- Journeyman status is advantageous.
- Equipment operating certifications are beneficial.
The work takes place in manufacturing facilities with a typical schedule from Monday to Saturday, totaling around 60 hours per week. The environment is dynamic, requiring adherence to safety protocols and efficient teamwork.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
