Position: Roof-Deck Foreman - CONCRETE CREW!
Bonitz of Georgia is hiring a skilled Roof Deck Foreman. You will be leading a team through supervision, training and coaching to ensure the team delivers a quality roof deck system to the customer. You'll also ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.

Family owned and operated since 1956, Bonitz of Georgia provides commercial Roofing, Roof Decking Systems, Engineered Fills, Metal Stud Framing, Drywall, and Acoustical Ceiling services. We operate primarily in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise the entire roof decking process and team
• Plan daily work goals to complete jobs on time while ensuring both efficiency and quality
• Conduct on-site safety meetings and ensure all safety protocols are being followed
• Supervise, train and coach crew members and subcontractors to ensure high-quality work and adherence to project specifications
• Communicate with the superintendent and support personnel to provide updates and address issues or concerns
• Ensure that all necessary equipment and tools are used in the proper manner and properly maintained
• Maintain an accurate equipment & materials inventory
• Maintain company & OSHA standards
• Submit timely and accurate timesheets, expense reports, delivery tickets, etc.
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS

• Overtime as required
• Travel to various job sites, 75% weekday overnight travel
• Must be able to individually lift, push, or pull materials & heavy equipment up to 100 pounds
• Must possess the ability to stand for long periods of time
• Must possess good manual dexterity to climb around equipment and job site
• Ability to work at heights as well as access heights from a ladder
• Employees may be required to perform any other job-related tasks as requested by the Superintendent
• Must enjoy working outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to work occasional weekend day(s)

REQUIREMENTS - Bonitz of Georgia is a certified drug-free workplace

• Must be willing to meet requirement for preemployment drug screening & physical as well as MVR review

• 2-3 years of experience in the commercial construction industry
• Experience in concrete work preferred but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 30-hour OSHA certification preferred but not required
