Full-Time | Monday–Friday Schedule

We’re a locally owned dumpster and sanitation company based in Savannah, GA, providing roll-off dumpster and portable toilet services throughout the area. Our fleet of roll-off and vacuum trucks keeps the business moving — and we’re looking for a reliable, experienced Diesel Mechanic to keep it all running safely and smoothly.

• Maintain and repair our fleet of roll-off and vacuum trucks.
• Perform DOT annual inspections and make sure all trucks meet FMCSA standards.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, and suspension.
• Handle both preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Keep maintenance records up to date and organized.
• Order parts and help manage inventory.
• Follow all safety procedures and help keep our yard and shop clean and organized.

Required:

• 3+ years of experience as a diesel or heavy truck mechanic.
• Strong skills in diagnostics and preventive maintenance.
• Good understanding of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Preferred:

• DOT Inspector Certification (or willing to get certified within 90 days).
• Experience working on roll-off, vacuum, or sanitation trucks.
• CDL (Class B or higher) is a big plus.
• Welding or fabrication experience a bonus.

• Pay: $36-40/hour (depending on experience and certifications).
