Base pay range: $27,000 – $32,000 per year. Actual pay depends on skills and experience.

• Perform duties in accordance with company safety rules, operating regulations, and practices.
• Install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems for lighting, climate control, security, and communications.
• Work with blueprints when installing electrical systems in manufacturing facilities, wastewater treatment plants, and other structures.
• Create accurate location markings on blueprints for circuits, outlets, load centers, panel boards, and other equipment.
• Install new electrical equipment and maintain and repair electrical systems promptly.
• Replace items such as circuit breakers, fuses, switches, electrical and electronic components, or wires.
• Perform NEC state/local regulation installations and complete construction documents while maintaining OSHA compliance.
• Orient and train new workers.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Knowledgeable in raceway installations (PVC, RSC, EMT, IMC, Cable Tray) per NEC and manufacturer requirements.
• Knowledgeable in cable/conductor installations (THHN, XHHN/XHHW, MI, VFS-cable, control wiring) per NEC and manufacturer requirements.
• Knowledgeable in grounding installations per NEC requirements.
• Perform maintenance duties involving mechanical operations and electrical equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as changing contacts and checking motors.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems on converting plant equipment including electromechanical production equipment.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring methods.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components – photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, encoders.
• PLC programs – troubleshoot ladder logic, components (CPU, I/O boards, counters, modules, devices) and communications modules (Ethernet).
• Basic understanding of programmable controllers.
• Knowledge of NEC and comply with state and local building codes when installing electrical systems.
• Perform calculations on deratings and loads.
• Calculate size and installation methods for specialty transformers.
• High voltage termination/splice standards per NEC and cable manufacturer requirements.
