Job Description

Heavy Duty Tire, LLC is a family owned and operated Commercial Tire Facility providing sales and service throughout the country with its headquarters located in West Palm Beach, FL. We are now accepting applications for a full-time Commercial Tire Service Technician for our Jacksonville location to service Savannah and the surrounding areas. Our ideal candidate is a driven, problem solver with experience working as a technician in the commercial tire industry.

However, training is available and all candidates with relevant experience and a solid work history are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities
  • As an essential part of the team, the Tire Technician is responsible for ensuring the customer experience out in the field by providing a quality service that is fast, efficient and raises the bar for industry standards.
  • Operating and maintaining a service vehicle
  • Changing and repairing commercial and industrial tires
  • Replacing and repairing rubber tracks
  • Providing prompt and courteous service to our customers
  • Working with office staff to ensure job details are accurate and properly recorded for billing
  • Follow all safety procedures
Qualifications and Skills
  • Valid driver's license and clear driving record is mandatory for consideration
  • Clean background check and drug screening
  • Ability to lift and/or move tires weighing up to 200 pounds
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions
  • Problem solving
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Experience with OTR tires preferred, but training available for candidates with previous tire experience
Schedule
  • Monday – Friday
  • No Nights
  • Limited weekends
