As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol in Savannah, GA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving role. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to requests with clear communication and customer-focused service.

- Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, hangars, parking areas, and perimeter gates, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns.
- Monitor access points and support badging and visitor management processes as directed, including checking identification, logging visitors, and directing authorized personnel to the proper locations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including alarms, medical calls, and suspicious activity, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
- Complete shift reports and incident documentation, communicate security‑related information during post turnovers, and assist with security‑related inspections and compliance checks as assigned.
- Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience or 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years' security experience.
- Possess a high school diploma or GED and provide proof.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
