Duties & Responsibilities
- Welcome all customers and set expectations.
- Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses.
- Act as a leader in optical acumen.
- Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
- Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
- Use technology accurately and efficiently under time pressure; demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and use appropriate tools.
- Proactively explore root cause of issues, forward‑think and ensure customers are satisfied, exceeding expectations in a solution‑driven manner.
- Multi‑task, prioritize and manage time with competing priorities.
- Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies.
- Maintain store appearance, keeping it clean, attractive and organized.
- Inform management of safety opportunities; demonstrate safe work practices.
- Be resourceful, self‑motivated, and dedicated to continual learning, improvement and results.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions and inventory management.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- State licensure.
- Optical dispensing experience.
- Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener & team builder.
- Knowledge of current store merchandise.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Awareness of current fashion trends.
- Sales skills – ability to use & carry an iPad/tablet.
- Familiarity with POS, computers & calculators.
- Embrace new technology and change.
- Previous customer service & retail experience.
