DONATION WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE – SAVANNAH CROSSINGS

Goodwill Southeast Georgia is seeking a Donation Warehouse Associate to serve as the first point of contact for donors and customers, ensuring a positive experience through excellent customer service.

Pay: $12.25 per hour (based on skills and experience).

• First point of contact for donors and customers, ensuring 100% satisfaction.
• Unloading and categorizing donations; maintaining accurate daily donation counts.
• Breaking down donations into appropriate categories and processing hard goods as a priority within 24 hours.
• Maintaining clean, organized work areas and ensuring safety and security practices.
• Operating compactor, transporting trash to dumpster, and maintaining work environment.
• Providing excellent customer service to all customers.
• Assisting in store operations and meeting store goals and deadlines.
• Participating in activities outside of the store and attending training sessions as assigned.
• Contributing to the retail and organizational mission by completing tasks and supporting overall goals.

• High School diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly assess donated goods and determine appropriate routing.
• Functional reading and writing skills; good eyesight and color vision.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strength: ability to lift and carry 40-60 pounds; push or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, stoop, squat, and push frequently.
• Work performed indoors and outdoors, with exposure to various weather conditions.
• Exposure to dust and moderate physical exertion.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
