We are launching the lifestyle hotel and clubhouse Recess Savannah in Fall 2026, transforming historic properties into vibrant community hubs. BARDO Hotels continues to receive international acclaim for exceptional hospitality, and the Executive Chef will play a key role in delivering culinary excellence.

About the Role

The Executive Chef will lead kitchen operations, create in‑the‑moment dining experiences, and collaborate with Food & Beverage leaders to uphold brand standards.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory, and cost management.
  • Ensure every dish meets high standards of flavor, presentation, and artistry.
  • Respond to guest feedback promptly, turning challenges into connections.
  • Collaborate with F&B leaders on communication of opportunities and challenges.
  • Maintain local health department sanitation laws with unwavering attention to safety and compliance.
  • Prepare essential reports, including payroll, revenue, and team schedules.
  • Develop and implement training programs for kitchen team members.
  • Guide and mentor chefs to maintain excellence across all outlets.
  • Assess and refine food portions, presentation, taste, and temperature to align with brand standards.
  • Oversee daily kitchen activities to ensure seamless execution from preparation to cost reporting.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role.
  • Exceptional culinary expertise focused on flavor, presentation, and elevated dining experiences.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Skilled in managing kitchen operations, including cost control and inventory.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator.
  • Proficient in developing training programs and managing detailed reports.
