The Shift Leader supports the store management team’s daily operations of a Krystal restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards in operations, product preparation, customer service, and financial accountability. The Shift Leader coaches A+ talent to achieve key results in People, Customer, Sales, and Profit.

• Demonstrate core values while building high‑performing employees and coaching for excellence.
• Partner with management to execute performance management, ensuring employees are set up for success and held accountable.
• Drive customer‑focused culture by resolving customer issues and training employees to meet or exceed service standards.
• Coach and recognize shift accountability around core procedures using OSM and company systems.
• Ensure food safety standards are met through direct observation while running shifts.
• Partner with management to implement restaurant‑level plans and marketing initiatives.
• Execute cash, security, inventory, labor, and food control procedures, identifying and closing gaps.

• At least 21 years of age.
• Serv Safe certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred with one or more years of restaurant experience.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.
• Flexible schedule, including days, nights, overnights, and weekends.
• May be required to travel to other locations as business dictates.

• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds frequently to move objects.
• Ability to carry products/boxes and miscellaneous items weighing no more than 70 pounds.

• Ability to kneel and perform proper lifting procedures.
