(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Department Information DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESResponsible for the planning, implementation, and execution of research activities leading to the establishment of an externally funded research program (e.g., experimental design and implementation, data collection, reduction, and interpretation, manuscript and grant development, and administrative tasks related to the research). May serve as Principal Investigator (PI)/CO-PI for projects and grants, as well as other interdepartmental projects that can be used as cost-share for the research center.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Doctoral degree in discipline related to the specific research
Required ExperienceAt least three (3) years post-doctoral research experience
Preferred Qualifications Preferred Educational QualificationsAn advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field such as higher education, student affairs, student personnel services, educational leadership, or a related field
Preferred ExperienceExperience with grant writing and securing grants
Experience conducting mixed-methods research, including quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
Proficient computer skills, use of statistical packages and proficiency in navigating and maintaining databases
Experience with statistical analysis software (SPSS);
Stata and NVivo is preferred
