Quality Engineer

Incoming Material Inspection Oversight:

• Ensure execution of incoming material inspections by inspectors in accordance with approved inspection plans and sampling methods.
• Set up and validate inspection recipes, ensuring accuracy and performance.

Manpower & Team Management:

• Manage and allocate manpower effectively to meet inspection workload and priorities.
• Provide guidance and training to inspectors on inspection criteria and procedures.

Quality Data Review & Compliance:

• Review incoming material data, identify abnormalities or out‑of‑spec conditions, and elevate issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate inspection and quality records in designated quality systems.
• Ensure compliance with fab quality systems, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Documentation & Audit Support:

• Ensure all work instructions, inspection criteria, and control plans are up to date and aligned with the latest approved revision.
• Support internal and external audits through data preparation and documentation.

Supplier Quality Coordination:

• Track supplier quality performance and ensure incoming material checks align with established inspection plans and sampling methods.

Continuous Improvement:

• Drive and participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance IQC efficiency and reduce inspection cycle time.

Problem Solving & Corrective Actions:

• Assist in root cause analysis for incoming material‑related issues using structured problem‑solving tools.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (8D reports, root cause evidence) and verify implementation and effectiveness for IQC deviations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Materials, Chemical, Mechanical, or related discipline)
• 2‑5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, quality, or process engineering
• Previous semiconductor experience or incoming quality check experience is an advantage
• Basic understanding of semiconductor fab processes (lithography, etch, CMP, diffusion, deposition)
• Familiarity with quality fundamentals: SPC, Pareto analysis, basic FMEA, 8D
• Awareness of sampling plans and inspection concepts
• Willingness to learn IQC tools and techniques
• Basic proficiency in Excel or data analysis tools
• Exposure to MES or quality management systems is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and discipline in following procedures
• Willingness to learn and take coaching from senior engineers
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a cleanroom and manufacturing environment
• Team‑oriented with a proactive mindset
