Island Veterinary Clinic is a well-established, progressive 3 doctor companion animal general practice in Savannah, GA. We have served the community since 1973 with a loyal client base and excellent tenured staff. We offer many services to provide the best and most comprehensive care to our patients, including Wellness Services, Preventative Care, Walk-In Urgent or Sick Patient Care, General Surgery, Digital Full Body and Dental Radiology, Ultrasound, Full In-House Laboratory, In-House Pharmacy, Cold Therapy Laser, Medical and/or Vacation Boarding, Grooming & more.
Savannah, Georgia is a charming Southern escape where art, period architecture, trendy boutiques and ghost stories are all set under a veil of Spanish moss. The historic district features manicured parks, horse-drawn carriages and antebellum architecture. Savannah offers a culinary scene from the coast and access to nearby Tybee Island for beach days.
Our veterinarians
- Develop a relationship with our clients and partner with them to deliver the highest quality patient care possible.
- Treat each pet individually to minimize stress, anxiety or discomfort.
- Stay up-to-date with innovative and emerging veterinary medications, procedures, treatments, protocols and equipment.
- Collaborate and function as a team within the hospital.
- Help to continue developing the support team.
- Treat every client like family and each patient like their own pet.
We’re looking for:
Part-Time Veterinarian proficient in soft tissue surgery (2-3 days per week)
Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator
Experience preferred; at least 1 year of Medicine experience

- Future Ownership Opportunities
- Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
- Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
- Active Veterinary State License
- USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
