When you are called on to participate, you are expected and it will be a part of your job requirement to participate, whether the emergency occurs during or outside regular work hours.

- Under direct supervision, aids Public Health Nurses and county programs. Works in our General Clinic department.
- Assist with scheduling colposcopy/LEEP appointments.
- Mail results and education material.
- Administer vaccines.
- Prepare clients for, and assist with, examinations and treatments.
- Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment and supplies for procedures.
- Order supplies.
- Provide education to clients, families, and community service providers.
- Deliver health care and first aid.
- Consult and coordinate with health care team members.
- Maintain accurate, detailed client records.
- Assist with billing tasks, submitting women’s health Medicaid applications.
- Participate in community events on occasion.
- Perform clinical tasks such as obtaining vitals, performing pregnancy tests, and collecting blood or other specimens.
- Execute other clinical and clerical tasks as assigned.
PH LPN 1-Vocational/Technical degree in licensed practical nursing from an accredited college and current Georgia license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse and CPR certification and completion of all necessary orientation and training for Public Health LPN. Starting Salary-$32,170
